About the Show:
The Wiz is a joyous and uplifting musical that follows Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, as she is whisked away to the fantastical land of Oz. Along her journey, she meets memorable characters such as the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion, each searching for their own heart’s desire. Together, they navigate challenges and discover the true meaning of home, friendship, and self-belief.

Our Production:
Our Musical Theatre Intensive Camp has worked tirelessly to bring a fresh and dynamic interpretation of The Wiz to the stage. Under the expert direction of Passion A. Jefferson, with choreography by Hasaan Allen, and musical direction by Derrick M Hearne, our campers have embraced the vibrant energy and soul-stirring music that make this show a timeless classic.

Creative Elements:
Our production features stunning set designs that transport the audience from the streets of Kansas City to the enchanting world of Oz, complete with dazzling costumes that capture the essence of each character. The music, filled with infectious rhythms and soulful melodies, will have you tapping your feet and humming along.
